"Lots of great pizza in this area but Ladro is probably my favourite. The gold standard for margheritas. Excellent tomato paste coupled with light and creamy fior di latte. Thin, crispy crust that can be enjoyed on its own. No grease and easy on the stomach. Close to perfection."

"I first visited Ladro when they opened 15 years ago and they had the best pizzas in Melbourne. On my return 15 years later they are still going strong! Good pizza and pasta menu with gluten free options on the pizza. Good drinks menu and friendly service. Pizzas are woodfired traditional and very thin base. Simple toppings with good flavour. There are better pizzas around now, but you still won't be disappointed here"

The waiters were friendly and fast. The pizzas were cooked to perfection. The squid with cucumber and mango tasted amazing. The salami pasta tasted great! We were seated outside in the cold but that’s because the place was fully booked but other than that the experience was fantastic."

"We had the margherita and porcini e gorgozola pizzas, the insalata di spinaci size dish and the tiramisu for dessert and the dishes did not disappoint. The ambiance is really nice - good for a casual date. Big enough to fit large groups. They do have a section at the back that they can probably close off if you book. Overall, lovely dining experience. Will come back for more."
