In 2002 we visited Italy, searching for inspiration. We returned to Melbourne and in 2003 we opened Ladro as one of Gertrude Street’s first restaurants. Our wood-fired pizza quickly become a local favourite. Today our mission remains the same: Italian dishes made for Melbourne.
