"When you try a restaurant you've never tried before, it's always a gamble. Fortunately it paid off here. Ordered the take home meatballs, bolognese sauce and gnocchi and all were fresh, well balanced and delicious. The meatballs were lightly herbed and the meat was cooked to perfection and was quite lean. The accompanying sauce was the right balance of great rich tomato without being oily. The potato gnocchi was melt in your mouth silky. The only thing for me was the Bolognese sauce could have been meatier rather than on the thin side, but it is a sauce after all so shouldn't really complain. The meat was lean and satisfying without being greasy or grisly. Definitely recommend. Staff and atmosphere seemed very pleasant. Wish I lived around the corner. Prices very reasonable."

"Despite being busy they found me a spot by the window, the pizza made a very good showing. The sauce was light and bright, the dough well formed and had just the right amount of slight charring on the bottom. All the ingredients were fresh, overall a worthwhile trip."
